Labor Day

Abby!

I am so sad to think that summer is really over, but I am really enjoying the nice 75ish degree weather we have been having lately...so much better than 109 degrees! For Labor Day we went to Big Splash Waterpark for the last day of the season. It was fun, but crowded! We had some free meal coupons that we used to get lunch with. We waited in the line for FOREVER and a year and then they were out of fries and chicken so we got hamburgers, which weren't as good as the first time...but hey it was FREE and that's all that counts right?

Chase was pretty hesitant with swimming pools and what not at the beginning of the summer and all he wanted to do was play in the baby pool when we would head out to Big Splash. But, by the end of the summer he was LOVING swimming and I couldn't keep him out of the pool. He has started swimming without a lifevest and loves the wavepool, lazy river, and the BIG slides (which he HAS to wear a lifevest on). He even got so brave and went down headfirst on his belly on the big slides at big splash! One time he threw quite the tantrum because he couldn't ride on the tube slides since his bum isn't big enough.
