SNOW!

For some reason, blogger won't let me move my pictures around how I want them anymore. So, these pictures aren't in the order I wanted them to be, but oh well. You'll get the idea. On Christmas morning we woke up to a good 3+ inches of snow. It all started Chrismas Eve and it got bad fast. A lot of people were getting stuck and running off of the road. We were supposed to have the missionaries over for dinner, but dad ended up having to go and pull them out of a mess in their big 15 passenger van. They came a little later and were able to do the nativity scene with us. Anyway, on Saturday, the day after Christmas we ventured out into the cold and played in snow. We went sledding and had a blast. We didn't have sleds so we did it the Haynie way and went on cookie sheets. It was completely slick and icey so we were able to go pretty quick. Later that day, Chase and Lexi built a snowman and the boys played in the snow.

All Baby D wanted to do was eat the snow!

and this is how he ate it...
look at the snow on his hat from bending over
what a goob!
love this smile!
There was a thick coating of ice on the roads everywhere.

The boys had so much fun in the snow! We still have snow on the ground almost 2 weeks later!

Looks like y'all had a ton of fun. Very clever using the cookie sheets. I do have to say I'm glad I missed it all! It was freezing in Utah, but not a crazy blizzard!
