Life is good

I am happy with my life right now. I am beyond blessed to have two amazing little boys, even though they drive me crazy! They make me so happy and I wouldn't trade them for the world. They make me smile every day...yell a little too! :) Gotta love it! I am lucky to have a job and be able to go to school. I just bought a new laptop yesterday and I am super excited about it! I have been so swamped and tired when I get home from work that I don't even want to think about anything, but I am really gonna try to get back into the swing of blogging. I don't want these sweet moments with my boys to pass by without recording them.

Davis is growing up so fast! He is such. a. turd. TO THE MAX! He destroys everything and pulls everything apart. He would rather tear the cabinets apart before he plays with his toys. He loves to dance. He picks on Chase all the time and likes to grab two full handfuls of hair and shake his head all around, whilst Chase screams at the top of his lungs. Davis just laughs about it. STINKER!

Chase is getting bigger everyday...it is pretty bittersweet! He loves school, even though sometimes he will say otherwise. His teacher has told me he is socially distracted, but he is just Chase. He is young and as time goes on I am sure he will get better...right?? One of his struggles has been facing the front in line without talking, so last week if he did a good job and didn't turn around and talk to the person behind him, we would go do something fun. As far as I know he did it, so we went to Chick-fil-a with some sweet and fun friends! Once a month he gets to bring home a teddy bear to take care of known as "Star Bear." He had Star Bear a few weeks ago and Chase had a lot of fun with him. We had him over a three day weekend and we lost Star Bear when it was time to go back to school, but luckily it was only for a day! When Chase gets to bring home Star Bear, he gets to be the "Star Student" at school the next day. He gets to be the line leader, feed Whale (the class fish), and help Mrs. Nicar and Mrs. Ruff with certain tasks. He loves it. Tonight, we had the babies in bed and we had told the kids multiple times to quiet down. Chase, of course, has a hard time with that concept. After about the 3 or 4 time, I called him over and made him look in my eyes. I said something to the effect of "Chase, I have told you 10 times to be quiet, that is too many. You need to do something the first time you are told." I then proceeded to tell him that he needs to be quiet, as that was my main point. When I got done telling him what I said, I told him to repeat it back to me. He replied, "You tell me something fifteen times and it's too many." Haha. He missed the be quiet part, but got the other part down. What a goob!

Right now, life is good. I am happy and know I am loved. I have met an awesome girl and her daughter, Amy and Adi! I am super excited because we have a lot in common and my boys adore her daughter and vice versa. Chase and I went to Chick-fil-A with them on Friday, (Davis stayed home with Nuna because he was sick) :(. Chase and Adi had a blast and Amy and I talked forever! It is always fun to find someone you have a lot in common with. :)

Work is work, but going great. The students and punks, but to be expected, I guess. It always makes sense when you meet a students parent. It explains EVERYTHING! Today, there is such a threat to the school with lawsuits, etc. that the parents have so much control over everything, even when their student is in the wrong. This can be so frustrating. It seems that today most parents tend to believe that their child is the best thing in the world, and never does anything wrong! I must say, I BEG TO DIFFER! It just makes it possible to have any form of discipline, or even order, when parents are in your face constantly. Oh well. All I can say is that you better believe my boys will be well disciplined and if they ever act up in class or at school, their punishments will be served. If parents are always there patching up their kids wrong doings, nothing will ever be learned! Anyway, I'll stop ranting about that now! :)

I am excited for summer, who else is?

It's nice to see you in blogland and I have to say that your little boys are darling! I am so ready for a good summer break! That means Tyson will be done with school and I don't have to be on as strict of a schedule. :)

Loved the story of you talking to Chase about being quiet. So cute and funny.

I am glad that you are happy! It's a wonderufl thing to be!
As for your last paragraph I totally agree. We even have that problem at church. It is so annoying. I just don't see how parents can really think that their kids are perfect! Ugh, super annoying, sorry you have to deal with it daily.
