I always wonder...

I always wonder what things go through kids heads. They can come up with the funniest and wittiest things to say sometimes.

Yesterday we were going to Wal-Mart to get some grocery items. As were were walking into the store Chase goes "I not want to get in the cart mommy...that not be good for me." I just had to laugh. Chase HATES to get in the cart at the store, it takes almost everything we have to bribe him to sit down, because if we let him loose we don't get any shopping done...we are just busy pulling Chase out of the clothes racks and what not. He is so funny and comes up with the best things to say.

As we go throughout the day, Chase often points out when he sees the letter "X, like Daddy!" Some different things he has pointed out as X's are: where the grout crosses on the tile floor in the kitchen, on our back door the wood makes an x, and where the parking spot lines cross. What a smart boy! One day he had a roll of toilet paper and he ran it all around the downstairs making "X's like daddy". He rolled the downstairs, but sure enough, on the floor in a few spots he had the toilet paper making x's. Today, at church X took Chase to the bathroom and Chase grabbed the toilet paper off of the counter and said, "I want to make an X daddy!" X said, "No Chase, not right now. We are at church." Chase then said, "But Nuna said yes." He thinks he is so sneaky. He will often try and get something or do something and try and trick you into it by saying "But Daddy's not here" or "But Mommy said yes!" What a monster he is!

And in case you didn't know...Chase is now 4...becasuse he said so...

He is so funny. Dawn had Ty convinced that he couldn't turn 4 without her permission so he had to be a good boy or he would stay 3 forever. Looks like Chase needs no ones permission. So funny.

They are spontaneous because their minds are free and clear of all that stuff older folks get it clogged up with. They are pure at heart and always truly tend to do no harm in either their thoughts or actions. Their minds are wide open . . .and suck everything in like a sponge. Then trying to make sense of it all they spew out some of the darndest things. LOL!! :) You can't help but love them.

Thats so funny... he says he's four! My friend stef had a baby a few months before you had chase and her daughter says she's 4 too! She always confuses her 2's and 4's. haha!
